Being thankful for small mercies, the wind we had was a tailwind and not too cold!
There are a lot of hills in Cornwall, and the roads aren't all in the best repair. That said, we all made it through unscathed, and appreciative of a hotel, shower and a good feed.
The Travelodge welcomed us with unlimited FRESH WHITE TOWELS to clean all of our bikes and chains! We couldn't believe it! Feel sorry for the poor cleaning company!
Tomorrow is the 2nd biggest day of the ride I think. Lots of ups and downs and around 86 miles! A real treat lies in store at the end though, Anna and the boys are coming to meet us and watch us ride in to the hotel before we all go out for dinner together! That'll get me through the day as I'm missing them already!!
Here's a few pics from today (didn't take many as it was so murky and foggy!) And in a random order as I'm not too smart at technology!
Proof I was here!
